Biography

Hailing from Chicago, KABZ is becoming a fixture in the midwest Dubstep/Bass Music scene… Having started DJ’ing in 1993, he has progressed through countless genres of music before discovering dubstep in late 2008. KABZ has played every major Dubstep venue/showcase in Chicago, as well as many other out of state venues and always leaves the crowd wanting more of his wikkid, unique, hard hitting mixing style.

KABZ is now represented by Furthersound Dubstep, and Betamorph Artist Management. KABZ is backed by Dubstep Record Co. heavyweights Betamorph Records, and Monkey Dub Records. And is also part of Chalice Dubs (Champaign/Chicago), and a resident DJ at the Dubstep Masquerade/Massacre one of the largest monthly parties in the Midwest US packing in 5-700 people every month. all of these groups feature a lineup of DJ's known to bring the FI'YA!!! KABZ was one of the original members of the Fresh Kid crew in Chicago, which promotes dubstep nights at The Metro/Smartbar, as well as assorted other events in the midwest dubstep scene. KABZ Has shared the stage with many of the top names in the Dubstep scene including the likes of Caspa, The Others, ESKMO, Eprom, 12th Planet, 6BLOCC, AntiSerum, Broken Note, Searchl1te, Jeekoos, Phaded, Jim K & Richie August to name a few...
